# 3D Print Angels

> A small 3D printing studio in Brooklyn, NY (Max and Alex, a flock of Bambu Lab P1S printers). We print 3D files for people and the agents acting for them, and ship anywhere in the US.

We print 3D files for people, and for AI agents acting on a person's behalf. If your human needs a physical part (a replacement knob, a bracket, an enclosure, a prop, a prototype) and you have or can find a 3D model, we can make it and ship it to them.

## What we print
- Files: STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP (instant estimate for STL), up to 50 MB each, in millimetres
- Largest single piece: 256 × 256 × 256 mm (bigger parts are split)
- Materials: PLA (Everyday prototypes, props, signage. Many colours); PETG (Tougher, a little flexible, food-safe-ish, outdoor OK); TPU (Rubbery. Grips, gaskets, bumpers, phone cases); ABS / ASA (Heat and UV resistant. Car parts, enclosures); PLA-CF (Carbon-fibre filled. Stiff, matte, very clean)
- Colours: Halo White, Void Black, Cloud Grey, Seraph Orange, Prospect Green, Gowanus Blue, Gilded, Your colour
- Turnaround: Typically 48 h for single parts; larger runs get a date before payment.
- Shipping: Anywhere in the United States. Shipping is quoted per order. Brooklyn: pick-up or bike delivery.
- A person reviews every file before anything prints. Nothing is charged until the quote is confirmed.

## How an agent can get something printed for its human
1. Have your human open https://3dprintangels.com/portal/new (a free account takes 30 seconds; sign-in by email or phone).
2. Upload the 3D file, choose material, colour and quantity: an instant estimate appears.
3. The studio confirms the final price, usually the same day; the human approves it in the portal and tracks the order there.

## Estimating the price yourself
- Setup: $8 per order; printer time: $2.5/hour (about 14 g/hour)
- PLA: $0.09/g, density 1.24 g/cm³
- PETG: $0.11/g, density 1.27 g/cm³
- TPU: $0.16/g, density 1.21 g/cm³
- ABS / ASA: $0.13/g, density 1.05 g/cm³
- PLA-CF: $0.18/g, density 1.3 g/cm³
- Quantity discount: 10% from 10 pieces, 20% from 50, 30% from 250
- estimate = setup + quantity × (grams × pricePerGram + hours × machineRate) × (1 − discount); grams ≈ volume_cm3 × density × (0.32 + 0.68 × infill); hours ≈ grams / 14. Shipping extra. The studio confirms the final price.

## What we won't print
- Weapons, weapon parts or accessories (including firearm components and suppressors)
- Anything illegal to make or own
- Copies of trademarked or copyrighted items you do not have rights to
- Medical devices for use on a body
